Accessibility

By bike or scooter
Safe bike paths nearby invite you to come to the museum and DE SINGEL by bike or scooter. You'll find bike racks at various entrances to the museum. On the campus, there is a large covered bike storage area.

 

By Velo bike sharing
The station closest to the main entrance of the museum is located at the intersection of Middelheimlaan and Beukenlaan (station 271). At the DE SINGEL campus, you'll find Velo station 013.

By car or bus
Calculate the smoothest route to both locations on the Smart Ways to Antwerp website or app. You can park for free in the spacious parking lot at Beukenlaan, 300m from the main entrance of the museum. There are also some parking spaces for less mobile individuals near the castle. DE SINGEL has its own paid parking lot. You can also park for free a bit further away on the site.

Accessible to everyone 

Visitors pavilion
Your visit to the exhibition starts at the visitor pavilion. There, you'll find the free visitor's guide, the museum map, program brochures, and all other information. There are also lockers and a water point available. Be sure to take a look around the museum shop as well.

 

Restrooms and changing tables
In the Middelheim Castle, above the museum café MIKA, you'll find restrooms. Opposite the visitor pavilion, there is a restroom for less mobile visitors. Changing tables for small children and babies are available in the museum center (near the visitor pavilion) and in the collection pavilion.

 

Wheelchair lending
Upon request, two wheelchairs are available. Please reserve them in advance by calling 03 288 33 60 or emailing. The museum also has a golf cart available. With the exception of one installation, the entire exhibition can be visited with a wheelchair or stroller.

 

Facilities in DE SINGEL
In addition to basic amenities, DE SINGEL provides extra provisions for individuals with visual or auditory impairments.
