Plan your visit

On two locations

COME CLOSER takes place at two locations. In the group exhibition at the Middelheim Museum, you'll discover around forty sculptures, installations, and performances. The performances at DE SINGEL push the boundaries of performance art. This practical information will assist you in planning your visit.

All summer long

You can enjoy COME CLOSER throughout the summer, from June 7th to September 29th. The museum with the exhibition is open every day except Monday. At DE SINGEL, you can attend performances on various dates and times. It's best to book your tickets for those in advance.

Four performance weekends in the museum

During the exhibition, the Middelheim Museum organizes four (free) performance weekends: one per month. On those weekends, there will be even more to experience at the museum. Welcome!

Free or ticket?

The exhibition and the performances at the Middelheim Museum are free. For certain performances, you need to register in advance. Some performances at DE SINGEL require payment. You also need to purchase a ticket in advance for the walking conversations and evenings at De Nor. The information and link can be found with the activities.

Tip: bring earphones and/or a picnic

For A Walk In The Sculpture Park (2024), you'll need earphones or headphones. It's best to bring those from home. If you don't have a pair, you can also borrow them for free at the visitor pavilion. Are you joining one of the four Monster School Picnics? Bring your own picnic with food you can share with the other participants.
